# data-paygo.ai — Pay as you go — AI agents pay for what they read, in the call that reads it Doors by what they resolve: - GTINs → https://gtinfetch.ai/mcp - Listed issuers (ticker, ISIN, LEI) → https://mcp.getissuer.ai/mcp - Receipts — the Record of Cleared Orders → https://mcp.rco-records.ai/mcp 1. Allooloo's doors are paid by the agents that use them. A read is priced at the door, offered to the agent in the protocol it already speaks, and paid in the same call — no account, no invoice, no person. The receipt of the read carries the settlement. This page is how that works on every door of the stack. 2. How an agent pays: The agent asks a door — get_record, get_orderability, get_target_market, the news, the receipt — with the header x402-pay: 1. The door answers HTTP 402 with a signed offer: the price of this read, the rails it accepts, the address, the time the offer stands. The agent pays on the rail it holds and repeats the call with the payment attached. The door verifies the settlement and serves the signed answer. The read is receipted at the receipt door as every read is, and the receipt carries the settlement reference beside the answer hash. One object: what was read, under which rule, and that it was paid for. 3. Two rails: x402 USDC — the x402 payment standard settling in USD Coin on a public chain, from the agent's own machine wallet — agents that hold a wallet; no card, no bank, no sign-up; x402 USD — the same x402 offer settled in US dollars through the agent's payment provider — agents inside a firm that pays in currency The offer names both; the agent chooses. The door does not care which. 4. Every door, the same way: getissuer.ai — the record: resolve, record, signal, events. getorderability.ai — whether a product may be ordered for a client category, under the market's rule. gettargetmarket.ai — the manufacturer's target market statement. issuerwire.ai — the filings and news of every listed issuer as they land. rco-records.ai and rco-a2a.ai — the receipt, the statement, the auditor's slice. Every regional door, mcp.-cm-kg.ai/mcp, answers the same offer for its own market. 5. Agent to agent: No one at Allooloo is in the loop of a paid read and no one at the firm needs to be. The agent reads, the agent pays, the agent keeps the receipt. Spend is visible to the firm as the sum of its agents' receipts under its customer key, at the customer door. Settlement counts are published nightly; no sum is. 6. What a paid read is not: Not a subscription, a seat or a tier. A read is a read. Not a licence to the record. Firms that want the dated record, the archive and the named things on the shelf license them at data-licence.ai. Not priced on any page. The price is in the offer the door signs for the agent that asked. 7. Start: Point an agent at any door and have it ask with x402-pay: 1. Setup for the common clients is at allooloo.io/setup; the payment standard is at agentic-x402.ai. 8. Twins (same body): data-paygo.org, data-paygo.io, data-paygo.com.
